HR Manager / HR Business Partner

About the role

The HR Manager / HR Business Partner will lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, performance management and the administration of full‑time, part‑time and temporary staff.
• Develop and manage staff performance and professional development plans that drive high performance.
• Create a positive work environment and define employee‑relations practices to boost morale and engagement.
• Maintain master HR files, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage electronic documentation.
• Reconcile benefits and payroll records periodically and resolve issues promptly.
• Administer HR policies, update the employee handbook and respond to staff HR queries.
• Implement and continuously improve recruitment processes to meet current and future talent needs.
• Coordinate internal and external HR communications and support learning and development initiatives.

Required profile

• HND/BSc in Human Resource Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing an HR department.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Familiarity with HR legal frameworks such as the Labour Act, Pension Reforms Act, ECA, ITF Act, etc.
• Experience interfacing with federal and state revenue authorities, pension bodies and regulatory agencies.
