About the role
We are looking for an HR Admin Officer to join our team in Aba, Abia. The role supports the full spectrum of HR activities, ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, payroll support and employee record management within our oil and gas operations.
Key responsibilities
- Support recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Assist in preparing employment letters, contracts, and other HR documentation.
- Coordinate staff onboarding, induction, and exit processes.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave management, and disciplinary matters.
- Support payroll administration by ensuring timely submission of employee data and updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and HR best practices.
- Handle employee inquiries and provide HR support where necessary.
- Assist in organizing staff training, engagement, and welfare programs.
- Prepare HR reports and other administrative documentation as required.
- Support performance management and appraisal processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
- Oversee the general work performance of workers on site and ensure proper roll call and attendance.
- Monitor fuel usage.
- Personnel management on site.
Required profile
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Knowledge of company policies, labor laws and HR best practices.
- Attention to detail in record keeping and payroll data.
