About the role
The Hostel Manager will oversee the boarding house at Lagooz Schools, ensuring a safe, supportive, and academically conducive environment for boarders.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of conduct, foster a homely and safe atmosphere, and act in loco parentis for boarders.
- Induct new boarders, liaise with parents, and oversee pastoral and academic welfare.
- Teach a chosen subject on a reduced timetable and advocate boarding across the school.
- Manage hostel staff, schedule duties, supervise weekend activities and off‑site trips, and handle day‑to‑day finances.
Required profile
- Minimum OND qualification and at least 2 years of teaching experience in public or private schools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a passion for nurturing student growth.
- Must reside within Ikeja, Agege, Ifako Ijaiye, or Alimosho LGAs.
Required skills
- CPR certification
- Proficiency in ICT
