Mathematics Teacher for Junior & Senior Secondary

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Mathematics Teacher to deliver lessons to junior and senior secondary students (JSS 1 to SS3) in Barkin Ladi. The successful candidate will join a school that provides accommodation, pension and health insurance contributions.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics effectively to students from JSS 1 to SS3.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, assignments and assessments.
• Explain mathematical concepts clearly and develop students' problem‑solving skills.
• Assess academic performance, give feedback and prepare students for examinations.
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active participation.
• Monitor progress and provide additional support where needed.

Required profile

• First degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience (preferred).
• Competent to teach both junior and senior secondary levels.
• Strong knowledge of the secondary school Mathematics curriculum.
• Good communication, classroom management and instructional skills.
