Home Tutor for Nursery 2 Student – Lagos

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated home tutor to support a 5‑year‑old child in Nursery 2. The tutor will provide early childhood education at the family’s residence in Close 4, VGC, Lagos, focusing on literacy, numeracy, phonics and introductory piano lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver two‑hour tutoring sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 PM.
• Teach literacy and numeracy concepts aligned with the Nigerian Curriculum.
• Introduce basic piano skills and foster musical interest.
• Monitor progress and adapt lessons to address any learning gaps.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and child‑friendly learning environment.

Required profile

• Experience working with early‑year primary children (Nursery 2 level).
• Ability to teach using the Nigerian Curriculum.
• Patience, reliability, and a genuine interest in child development.

Required skills

• Literacy and numeracy instruction.
• Phonics teaching.
• Basic piano instruction.
