Financial Sales Representative

About the role

The Financial Sales Representative will work full‑time on‑site in Lagos, identifying prospective clients and presenting Leadway’s financial products and services. You will build long‑term relationships with both individual and corporate customers, guiding them through needs assessments, proposals and after‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new individual and corporate clients.
• Conduct needs assessments and present suitable insurance, pension and investment solutions.
• Prepare and follow up on proposals to close sales.
• Respond to client inquiries, provide after‑sales support and maintain accurate interaction records.
• Collaborate with internal teams for smooth onboarding, policy administration and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of finance and financial services, especially insurance, pensions and investment products.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills for diverse client engagement.
• Proven sales abilities including prospecting, negotiation and closing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field preferred.
• Experience in financial sales, insurance or related commercial roles is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site in Lagos, meet targets and adhere to high ethical and regulatory standards.
