Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts and oversee all financial accounting activities. This role ensures compliance with statutory requirements and supports strategic decision‑making through accurate reporting and forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Manage financial accounting activities such as general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month‑end closing.
• Oversee bank and payment account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure compliance with statutory financial requirements, including tax filings, VAT, withholding tax, and regulatory submissions.
• Support external audit processes and coordinate documentation for financial reviews.
• Monitor daily cash flow and manage treasury‑related activities.
• Maintain accurate records for accounts payable and receivable.
• Develop financial reports, forecasts, and financial models to support management decision‑making.
• Strengthen financial controls and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of an MBA or MSc.
• At least 7 years of experience in a similar financial controller role.
