About the role
The company is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial records, assets, and payroll while ensuring compliance with reporting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing, examining, and analysing accounting records and financial reports.
- Appraise, evaluate, and inventory company assets, maintaining an asset register.
- Record, reconcile, and post petty cash and fuel imprest.
- Reconcile payments and receipts, confirm customer deposits, and issue receipts.
- Manage all accounting transactions and administer payrolls.
- Control income and expenditure, audit financial information, and compile reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries, and financial statements.
Required profile
- HND / B.Sc degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a relevant accounting role.
- Experience with accounting software is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
