Finance & Operations Manager

About the role

The Finance & Operations Manager will lead the company's financial and accounting functions while overseeing procurement, inventory and cash‑flow management. This senior position reports to senior management and supports strategic decision‑making across the agribusiness and logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day finance and accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasts, management accounts and cash‑flow reporting.
• Monitor expenditure, receivables, payables and project financial performance, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Strengthen internal controls, ensure compliance with financial procedures and coordinate audits and statutory/tax compliance.
• Oversee procurement, supplier payments, inventory and warehouse financial controls.
• Manage banking relationships, working capital and provide financial insights to support management decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration or related field; ICAN, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong experience in budgeting, financial reporting, cash‑flow management and internal controls.
• Experience in agribusiness, FMCG, logistics, warehousing or project‑based businesses is an advantage.
• High level of integrity, accountability and attention to detail.
