About the role
The Team Member – Regional Finance oversees day-to-day financial operations within the assigned region, ensuring accurate accounts, bookkeeping, MIS reporting, statutory compliance and branch financial control. The role is based in Lagos and is full time.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and manage MIS reports accurately and on time for submission to the Head Office
- Reconcile bank statements, track cash and DD credits and generate Daily Activity Reports
- Handle month-end provisions and intercompany reconciliations
- Verify and process travel expenses and clearances, and review vendor invoices and payment documents for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure timely remittances and RTGS transactions with complete documentation
- Coordinate with SSC and VFS Global teams for payment processing and issue resolution
- Manage routine operations such as stop payments, DD and cheque cancellations, deposits, receipts and manual payments
- Work with the Travel Desk to account for surrendered currency in SAP
- Oversee internal customer satisfaction initiatives within the department
