Finance Manager - Nigeria Subsidiary

About the role

Bluetti Energy Nigeria Limited, a leading provider of solar home systems and energy storage solutions across Nigeria, is hiring a Finance Manager based in Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja, Lagos. The company is expanding its footprint and needs a seasoned professional to oversee and optimise the financial operations of its Nigeria subsidiary.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of financial budgeting, accounting, audit supervision and financial management in the Nigeria subsidiary, and organise and oversee daily financial operations.
• Manage tax matters in Nigeria, assist with tax audits, liaise with local tax agents and supervise them, ensuring timely tax declarations and annual audits.
• Monitor and forecast cash flow, oversee daily operational expenses, and manage internal financial training locally.
• Supervise inventory management and control, reconcile physical stock with financial records and investigate discrepancies, and oversee expense reimbursement and cost control.
• Lead and develop the Nigeria finance team, giving clear direction and support aligned with company standards.
• Report the subsidiary's business performance, financial results, income and expenditure and financial plans to the finance headquarters in China.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Familiarity with IFRS and Chinese accounting standards; experience with annual audits in listed companies is preferred; overseas finance or African finance experience is a plus.
• Fluent English (listening, speaking, reading and writing) used as a working language.
• Strong communication, coordination and presentation skills, with a proactive, responsible and team-oriented approach.
