Field Operator – Cementing

About the role

Join Baker Hughes as a Field Operator – Cementing, supporting cementing operations at well sites in Port Harcourt and the Rivers State region. You will operate, maintain and troubleshoot cementing equipment while ensuring safety, quality and compliance with HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and operate cementing equipment according to established procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of the Permit to Work system and complete required paperwork before operations.
• Assist in risk assessment preparation and report generation for onshore and offshore projects.
• Follow all company safety, environmental and quality procedures.
• Participate in client QHSE meetings and adhere to cultural pillars and non‑negotiables.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Cementing Field Operator.
• Basic understanding of oil and gas industry operations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
