Executive Operations Officer

About the role

The Executive Operations Officer will support the Managing Director in driving e‑commerce product launches, promotions and operational projects for a shipping and logistics company. This on‑site role in Abuja requires close collaboration with marketing, technology and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead new product launches from planning, listing and pricing through go‑live.
• Coordinate with marketing, technology and customer service to meet project timelines.
• Manage promotions, campaigns and website/app updates from planning to execution.
• Track post‑launch performance and prepare reports for senior management.
• Handle the Managing Director’s calendar, priorities, follow‑ups and action items.
• Prepare briefs, presentations, reports and other materials for management meetings.
• Research competitors, market trends and emerging e‑commerce tools.
• Execute special projects delegated by the Managing Director and resolve blockers.
• Develop and document SOPs for recurring projects and business processes.
• Serve as the key liaison between the Managing Director and various departments.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in e‑commerce, preferably with platforms such as Jumia, Konga or Shopify.
• Proven track record of managing product launches, campaigns or e‑commerce projects.
• Highly proactive, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be based in Abuja and available for on‑site work.
