Enterprise Sales Manager

About the role

Emerging Hire is seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Manager to drive growth across African fintech and trade markets. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting high‑value corporate clients to closing complex contracts and ensuring smooth post‑sale handover.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a sales strategy targeting enterprise‑level clients in the fintech and trade sectors.
• Lead negotiations and deliver structured product presentations to C‑suite and treasury teams.
• Identify and map key industry verticals using data‑driven insights to expand the customer base.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process, including lead generation, consultative selling, contract finalisation, and handoff.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to turn client feedback into feature enhancements for FX and payment infrastructure.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine the value proposition.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of enterprise sales experience in fintech, SaaS, or international banking.
• Proven record of managing long sales cycles and closing high‑value contracts.
• Deep knowledge of cross‑border payment systems, foreign exchange markets, and African trade regulations.
• Strong consultative selling ability with a focus on treasury operations.
• Established network with finance executives across Nigeria and Africa.
• Willingness to work onsite and travel occasionally for business needs.
