Electrical Technician – Industrial Settings

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our industrial team, working across facilities in Abuja and Rivers State. The successful candidate will ensure the reliable operation of electrical equipment and support continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial environments.
• Perform preventative maintenance to guarantee safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults promptly.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams for installation and maintenance tasks.
• Install and maintain electrical control systems for machinery.
• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers, mechanics, and other technicians on projects and repairs.
• Provide training and guidance to apprentices and junior electricians.
• Maintain accurate work records and manage inventory of electrical supplies.

Required profile

• Minimum Trade Test Certificate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience with industrial electrical systems.
• Proven ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience working in factories, plants, or warehouses.
• Physical capability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent training.
