Electrical Maintenance Technician – Facility Management

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our rapidly growing facility management team in Victoria Island, Lagos. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of electrical systems across high‑rise buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair power control, lighting systems, panels and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, interpreting technical diagrams and drawings.
• Conduct safety and functional tests on electrical installations.
• Install distribution components such as switches, resistors and circuit‑breaker panels.
• Maintain and repair kitchen and laundry equipment, replacing faulty parts as needed.
• Inspect and service smoke detectors, fire alarm systems and related equipment.
• Clean and maintain pumps and fan motors, including sewage, booster and extractor fans.
• Perform regular inspections, testing and repairs of lights, emergency lights and smoke‑management systems in parking areas, staircases and technical rooms.

Required profile

• OND/HND qualification or equivalent Trade Test certification in Electrical.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an electrician with a focus on maintenance.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy equipment and long work hours.
• Strong manual dexterity and eye‑hand coordination.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to safety protocols.
