Marine Engineer – Early Career Training

About the role

Join ABL Group as a Marine Engineer and receive structured training to become a Marine Warranty Surveyor. You will work alongside experienced professionals on marine warranty surveying, asset integrity, and offshore engineering projects, gaining hands‑on experience from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Support preparation of technical inputs for marine engineering projects.
• Collect data, perform preliminary analysis, and draft technical reports.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases for project tracking.
• Attend client meetings with senior colleagues and provide support.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver solutions and resolve moderately complex challenges.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with ABL Group’s internal procedures and policies.

Required profile

• Degree in Marine, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or Naval Architecture.
• Approximately 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Completion of Nigerian NYSC.
• Strong foundation in engineering principles and practices.
• Interest in offshore or marine operations.
• Previous internship or industrial training in maritime, offshore, or energy sectors (desirable).
