Director - Fragrance Operations, Lagos

About the role

Iberchem, a global fragrance manufacturer founded in 1985 in Spain, is looking for a Director to lead its local operations and strategic initiatives in Lagos. This is a full-time, on-site position overseeing business development, client relationships and commercial performance, aligned with global objectives and local market needs. The Director coordinates sales, marketing, operations and finance teams and represents Iberchem in key client meetings and industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business development, client relationship management and commercial performance
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations, finance) to deliver high-quality service and meet growth targets
• Set and monitor KPIs, review financial and operational performance and guide talent development
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
• Represent Iberchem in client meetings and industry events, giving market feedback and influencing regional and global decisions

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership or director-level experience, preferably in fragrances, FMCG or related manufacturing
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering or a related field; a master's or MBA is highly beneficial
• Ability to work on-site in Lagos and travel for regional or international meetings
• Effective communication in English; Spanish or French is an advantage
