Digital Sales Executive

About the role

Made By Nigerians is a community connecting Nigerian creators with demand for locally made products and services. It is hiring a full-time, hybrid Digital Sales Executive based in Lagos, with flexibility to work from home part of the time. The role drives digital revenue growth by finding prospective customers, nurturing leads and turning them into buyers and partners on the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Manage online sales pipelines and close deals
• Conduct virtual and in-person client meetings
• Prepare proposals and convert prospects into active buyers and partners
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimise campaigns, refine sales messaging and improve the customer journey
• Monitor sales metrics, keep accurate records in CRM tools and share feedback on market trends

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Solid understanding of e-commerce, online marketplaces or creator-focused platforms, ideally in the Nigerian or African market
• Genuine interest in Nigerian creative industries and locally made products; prior experience with SMEs or creators is an advantage
• Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid environment

Required skills

• Digital sales and online business development, including lead generation, prospecting and closing deals
• Use of CRM platforms, online communication tools and social media to manage relationships and drive sales
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to analyse sales data and track performance metrics
