Digital Marketing And E-Commerce Lead

About the role

We're looking for a results‑driven E‑commerce Lead to own online sales across our product lines. You’ll run paid campaigns, convert our community into customers, and keep the store running smoothly. The role’s performance is measured by sales results.

Key responsibilities

• Run at least one paid social campaign each month targeting HGC subscribers who haven’t purchased yet.
• Create limited‑time bundles pairing merchandise with the journal or an HGC signup to drive month‑over‑month growth.
• Feature hair extensions prominently on the homepage and use real before/after content on product pages and ads.
• Monitor store uptime daily, respond to alerts, and maintain a reliable e‑commerce platform.
• Set up email and WhatsApp sequences for abandoned carts, repeat purchases, and new subscribers.
• Improve product pages, checkout flow, and conversion rates through testing.
• Manage payment gateways such as Paystack and Flutterwave and resolve failed‑payment issues.
• Coordinate with operations on inventory, fulfilment, and delivery timelines.
• Explore additional sales channels like Instagram Shop, TikTok Shop, and Jumia.
• Track ad spend, CPA, and ROAS, adjusting budgets accordingly, and provide weekly sales reports and monthly performance reviews.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in e‑commerce, digital marketing or growth, preferably in beauty, fashion or consumer products.
• Proven track record running paid campaigns on Meta and TikTok.
• Hands‑on experience with Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce or similar platforms.
• Comfortable using Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager and email/CRM tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain what drove results.
• Self‑driven and comfortable working to monthly targets.
• Nice to have: experience selling to an online community and interest in hair care or beauty.
