DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure & CI/CD (Contract)

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will design, build, and validate infrastructure‑as‑code and CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. You will evaluate AI‑generated configurations for security and maintainability, troubleshoot deployment issues, and provide clear feedback to improve solution quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate IaC and CI/CD tasks with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Assess AI‑generated scripts and pipelines for correctness, security, and maintainability.
• Diagnose deployment and reliability problems, documenting step‑by‑step solutions.
• Write automated checks to verify solutions and give feedback on common failure patterns.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Fluent written English and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Detail‑oriented and reliable with strong deadline management.

Required skills

• Linux operating systems.
• Docker containerization.
• Kubernetes orchestration.
• Terraform (or similar IaC tools).
• CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) – preferred.
• Security hardening and observability concepts – preferred.
