DevOps Engineer (Hybrid, Abuja)

About the role

Amaripay™ is building a digital trust infrastructure platform to enable secure, high‑value transactions across Africa. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Abuja on a hybrid basis, helping to automate and scale our cloud‑native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage automated infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Build, maintain and optimise continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux‑based servers and related services.
• Provide system‑administration support to development teams, ensuring reliable and efficient engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Required profile

• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience in software development and troubleshooting.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline creation and automation.
• Solid Linux system‑administration skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP a plus).
