Back End Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Back End Developer to join our team in Abuja on a full‑time hybrid basis. You will design, build, and maintain the server‑side logic of Amaripay’s digital trust platform, ensuring secure and verified transactions across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable and secure back‑end solutions.
• Write efficient, maintainable code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot backend issues.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to ensure consistent system functionality.
• Contribute to system architecture design and documentation.

Required profile

• Proficiency in back‑end web development and software development.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming.
• Familiarity with programming best practices and techniques.
• Experience working with front‑end development teams.
• Problem‑solving skills and ability to build scalable, secure applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Fintech or secure transactional platform experience is a plus.
