DevOps Engineer (AWS, Terraform, Ansible)

About the role

CredPal, a financial technology company offering credit cards and investment solutions, is looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer to optimize its AWS cloud environment. The role involves developing Terraform and Ansible modules, Jenkins pipelines and Python scripts, and building secure networks in the AWS cloud, working with cross-functional teams to automate the deployment and management of cloud applications.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for frequent, reliable releases.
• Design, configure and manage scalable infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) with infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Create automation to improve efficiency and reduce errors in development and deployment.
• Manage configuration tools for standardized, automated infrastructure and application provisioning.
• Set up monitoring and alerting for proactive issue detection and system reliability.
• Work with the security team to enforce best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Support developers in building, testing and deploying applications, and troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and performance issues.
• Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• DevOps certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or CKA, or similar.
• 3-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in FinTech or financial services.
• Years of experience administering Linux servers.
• Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Required skills

• Terraform and Ansible; Python scripting.
• Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Docker, ECS and Kubernetes.
• Git and git workflows; working knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Network infrastructure design and public cloud architecture.
• Serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
