Customer Service Sales Specialist

About the role

The Customer Service Sales Specialist is a full‑time, hybrid position based in Lagos. You will handle customer inquiries via phone, email and digital channels, provide accurate product information, and resolve issues promptly while identifying sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer queries across multiple channels and maintain detailed interaction records.
• Identify cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities during service calls and guide customers through policy onboarding, renewals and basic claims questions.
• Follow up on open requests, ensure service standards are met and collaborate with internal teams to improve processes.
• Gather customer feedback and contribute to experience improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑facing experience with a focus on high‑quality interactions and problem‑solving.
• Professional phone etiquette and clear written communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, manage time and stay organized across multiple requests.
• Relevant academic background (e.g., Business, Communications, Social Sciences) or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Competence in standard office software.
