Credit and Finance Officer

About the role

The Credit and Finance Officer will drive business development, assess creditworthiness of clients, and manage the loan portfolio to support revenue growth and market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
• Generate leads and acquire loan and investment business.
• Assess creditworthiness of potential clients and recommend appropriate credit facilities.
• Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals to attract new clients.
• Oversee the loan portfolio to ensure timely repayments and minimise defaults.
• Monitor accounts under management and apply sound credit judgment to reduce non‑performing loans.

Required profile

• HND or BSc degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in sales, marketing, business development and credit management within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, risk assessment and financial products.
• Proven track record of achieving business development targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Analytical mindset with data‑driven decision‑making capability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
