Corporate Learning & Development Officer

About the role

A boutique consulting firm based on Lagos Island, which advises clients in power, oil and gas, financial services and manufacturing, is looking for a Learning & Development Officer. The officer designs and delivers training solutions that strengthen client capabilities and drive business growth, identifies learning needs, supports proposal development and builds client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop curricula for courses delivered to corporate clients across sectors
• Create learning solutions proposals for clients
• Coordinate delivery of corporate courses virtually or physically
• Carry out business development at the executive level of corporate clients
• Deepen existing corporate relationships and track changing client learning needs
• Conduct training needs analysis surveys and research, and liaise with managers to create training processes
• Meet quarterly market share and financial targets, and deliver weekly and monthly performance reports
• Ensure 100% of client programs are delivered on time and within scope, including mandated training

Required profile

• BSc in Accounting or Banking & Finance, with a 2:1 or first-class degree from a top-tier university
• Minimum 2-3 years of learning and development experience in a consulting or similar professional environment
• Second degree or professional qualification is a plus
• Experience in Financial Services, Technology or Energy sectors; board-level training experience is an added advantage
