Remote Volunteer Trainer – Sustainability

About the role

THRIVE, a global for-impact organisation with members in over 40 countries, is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic volunteer trainer with a passion for sustainability. You will work with its team to inspire people around the world to build a better future. The role is remote, requires a minimum of 15 hours per week and a minimum six-month commitment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and design training materials and modules tailored to organisational needs.
• Deliver engaging online training sessions, workshops and/or courses for employees.
• Assess training effectiveness, gather feedback and adapt programmes for continuous improvement.
• Aid in developing and maintaining training resources, materials and support services.
• Demonstrate subject-matter expertise in one of the organisation's areas.
• Meet regularly with team members and present ideas to people from a variety of disciplines.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field, or 5 years of equivalent commercial experience.
• Experience hosting online meetings or events.
• Experience training culturally and linguistically diverse teams.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to plan, schedule and organise meetings and events.

• Excellent communication and organisation skills, strong problem-solving and time management.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
