Compliance Officer

About the role

Join El-Elyon Alliance & Securities Limited as a Compliance Officer to ensure the firm adheres to the Investments and Securities Act 2025, SEC rules, NGX rulebook, and anti‑money‑laundering regulations. You will support the growth of the trading business while maintaining rigorous compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the firm compliant with ISA 2025, SEC and NGX regulations and act on new circulars.
• Prepare and file all regulatory returns to the SEC, NGX and other regulators before deadlines.
• Conduct KYC checks for new clients, maintain up‑to‑date records, and monitor trades for suspicious activity.
• File suspicious transaction reports through goAML and maintain a compliance risk register.
• Train staff on compliance matters and report to senior management and the Board.

Required profile

• Degree (Second Class) in finance, economics, accounting or law.
• At least 3 years of compliance experience in a stockbroker, asset manager or bank.
• Registered with the SEC as a sponsored individual or willing to be sponsored.
• Strong knowledge of ISA 2025, SEC rules, NGX rules and the Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act 2022.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with KYC checks, suspicious transaction reporting and regulatory returns.
• Proficiency with goAML, GRC compliance tools and AI‑assisted compliance solutions.
