Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer will lead Kelina Hospital’s financial strategy, ensuring robust financial health while supporting the organisation’s growth and long‑term objectives. This senior position reports directly to the executive team and plays a pivotal role in decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the hospital’s expansion plans.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax and statutory requirements.
• Monitor performance, identify risks and recommend actions to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Lead treasury, investment and capital‑management activities while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Provide strategic financial insights to senior management and represent the hospital with investors and funding partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field; Master’s (MBA or MSc) highly desirable.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAN, CFA) and minimum 12 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in private healthcare financing or specialty hospitals is an advantage.
• Proven ability to prepare and evaluate financial models, support fundraising and corporate expansion.
