Cash Officer

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Cash Officer to join our retail team in Marina, Nigeria. The position focuses on processing customer payments accurately, maintaining cash registers, and supporting smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process customer payments via cash, POS, and other accepted methods.
• Issue receipts and ensure every transaction is properly recorded.
• Balance the cash register at the start and end of each shift without discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate daily transaction records and reports.
• Monitor and report cash shortages, float discrepancies, or suspicious transactions.

Required profile

• Minimum Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Cash Officer or in a similar customer‑facing role is an advantage.
• Strong numerical skills and ability to handle cash with accuracy and integrity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Honest, responsible, and highly detail‑oriented.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Professional appearance and conduct at all times.
