About the role
We are looking for a Customer Assistant to join our Shop 88 Supermarket team in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The role involves assisting customers, managing inventory, and supporting checkout operations.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer inquiries, guide them to product locations, and assist with purchases.
- Stock shelves, monitor inventory levels, conduct stock counts, and ensure proper product display.
- Operate cash registers, process transactions, handle returns, and maintain accurate cash handling.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including tidying shelves and cleaning floors.
- Collaborate with sales and operations departments to ensure smooth store operations.
- Stay informed about store products to provide effective recommendations.
- Adhere to store policies, safety protocols, and industry regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail or customer service role.
- Diploma from a reputable institution.
