Candidate Outreach Agent (Remote)

About the role

This is a fully remote Candidate Outreach Agent position based in Nigeria, working from home while staying connected with a recruiting team. You speak with candidates in a friendly voice, explain their next step and arrange interviews for those who wish to continue. The work is paid by a monthly base salary plus bonus opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Open candidate lists in an applicant tracking system such as Workable and plan calls by priority
• Call applicants through a business phone system or dialer such as Dialpad, introduce yourself and share the role's main points using approved recruiter notes
• Check interest, ask short questions about availability and fit, and write notes for recruiters
• Keep regular contact, return requested calls and follow up when candidates have not completed their next step
• Book interviews using a scheduling tool such as Calendly, confirm details and send reminders; call back after missed interviews and help reschedule
• Answer simple questions with approved information and refer unfamiliar ones to the team lead
• Record call results and next actions, mark wrong numbers, duplicates and withdrawals, and share daily call counts and booked interviews with recruiters

Required profile

• Professional spoken and written English, as calls are generally with candidates and teams in the United States
• A computer, a mobile phone, a stable internet connection and reliable electricity
• No recruiting experience required; related experience in candidate outreach, customer service, phone support or interview scheduling is preferred
• A calm, friendly phone voice and willingness to learn the named tools
• Respect for candidate privacy when viewing applications and sharing notes
