Business Performance Manager

About the role

The Job holder will be responsible for managing the financial performance management/monitoring process in ARM and providing ARM leadership with the information needed to support decision‑making and improve performance. The position will also facilitate strategic planning through preparation of financial forecasts, annual budgeting and periodic revised forecasts, and the analysis and preparation of financial reports.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in setting ARM finance group strategy and objectives.
• Prepare forecasts and translate them into profitability, balance‑sheet growth, capital and funding requirements.
• Develop macro and micro assumptions for planning and budgeting.
• Manage the annual business plan, capital expenditure, operating budget and periodic revised forecasts.
• Implement reporting of key management information ensuring data integrity and timely communication.
• Develop performance benchmarks for business units and monitor performance against them.
• Drive business analysis and recommend new or improved performance opportunities.
• Manage performance against budget for each business unit and ARM as a whole.
• Provide detailed monthly performance statements and variance analysis.
• Develop demand forecasts at multiple aggregation levels for various time horizons.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Advanced degree in Finance or Business Management (e.g., MBA, M.Sc Finance).
• Professional finance/accounting certification (e.g., CFA, CGMA, ACCA, ICAN).
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
