Business Development Specialist

About the role

The Business Development Specialist will support the growth of Phillips Outsourcing Limited by identifying new market opportunities, generating leads, and nurturing client relationships across the outsourcing and HR solutions sector.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to pinpoint potential clients and emerging business opportunities.
• Generate and qualify leads through cold calls, emails, networking, and digital marketing channels.
• Maintain an updated prospect database and track progress using a CRM system.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers to prepare proposals, presentations, and sales pitches.
• Schedule meetings with prospects and participate in sales discussions as needed.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients to encourage repeat business.
• Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor activities to provide actionable insights.
• Track sales activities and prepare weekly and monthly reports for management review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or sales, preferably in outsourcing, HR solutions or related services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present value propositions.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
