Business Development Executive

About the role

Ascentech is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to expand its portfolio of telecom solutions in Abuja. You will be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with key decision‑makers, and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and convert new business opportunities to meet sales targets.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals and client meetings.
• Promote Internet Leased Lines, Broadband, FTTH/FTTX, VoIP, IoT, IPTV and related solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with C‑Level executives and key decision‑makers.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and close sales.
• Manage the sales pipeline and keep accurate CRM records.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, retention and outstanding receivables.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and business development plans.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Business Management, Marketing or a related discipline.
• NYSC Certificate.
• 2–4 years of business development or sales experience in a telecommunications company or ISP.
• Good understanding of telecommunications and internet solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Target‑driven, proactive and results‑oriented.
