Business Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a senior Business Analyst to lead requirement gathering and process mapping initiatives for our mining, energy, and metals operations in Nigeria. The role is fully onsite and requires independent management of large‑scale projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive requirement gathering and create detailed process maps using MS Visio and the MS Office suite.
• Design and evaluate technical and operational solutions, including cost‑benefit analysis and risk assessments.
• Prepare project estimations, define strategic requirement frameworks, and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
• Produce user documentation and business reports to support executive decision‑making.
• Lead change‑management initiatives, conduct stakeholder interviews, and manage project lifecycles autonomously.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve conflicting requirements and mitigate project risks.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of senior‑level business analysis experience, especially in project scoping, requirements engineering, and operational optimisation.
• Proven ability to deliver recommendations to senior leadership and manage large initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Strong consultative communication skills and the capacity to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Must be able to work onsite at our Nigeria office on a daily basis.
