About the role
The Barista will work full-time on-site at our Lekki location in Lagos, preparing high-quality coffee and a range of beverages for customers. You will play a key part in delivering an exceptional café experience while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks and other beverages to exacting standards.
- Handle food preparation tasks and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment and customer seating.
- Engage with customers, provide friendly service and address inquiries.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups and related supplies.
- Adhere to health, safety and quality standards throughout the shift.
Required profile
- Proven barista skills, including coffee brewing and beverage preparation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to interact with customers and team members.
- Customer-service experience focused on creating a positive environment.
- Knowledge of food preparation processes and hygiene standards.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in a similar role or the hospitality sector is an advantage.
