About the role
Holy Grub NG is hiring a full-time Baker in Lagos (Marina) within its hospitality and catering business. The baker prepares and bakes cakes, pastries, cookies, breads and other desserts, working to quality and presentation standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and bake cakes, pastries, cookies, breads and other desserts.
- Measure, mix and prepare ingredients according to recipes.
- Decorate cakes and desserts neatly and creatively.
- Ensure all baked products meet quality and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and baking area.
- Manage baking schedules to ensure timely production.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and inform management when supplies are low.
- Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times.
- Assist with menu development and new product ideas when needed.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification: SSCE.
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
