About the role
E-Hotels Transit Bnb Limited is hiring an in-house cook in Lagos (Marina) for its hotel. The cook prepares meals for hotel guests according to orders and the hotel's menu, with a focus on a wide range of African dishes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare fresh, delicious and well-presented meals for hotel guests according to orders and the hotel's menu.
- Demonstrate competence in preparing a variety of African dishes, including Nigerian soups, stews, rice dishes, swallow meals, yam dishes, beans and other local delicacies.
- Monitor kitchen ingredients, groceries, seasonings, cooking oil and other supplies.
- Prepare requests for ingredients and supplies needed for daily operations.
- Inform management in advance when essential food items are running low.
- Receive and check supplied ingredients to ensure they meet the required quality and quantity.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of BSc.
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
