Assistant Store Manager (Abuja)

About the role

A global leader in the gadgets industry, offering products, technical support, repairs and customer solutions, is hiring an Assistant Store Manager based in Abuja. The role supports the Store Manager across customer service, sales, finance, stock, human resources and operations, with clear performance indicators attached to each area.

Key responsibilities

• Customer service: align policies and processes, ensure POS is operated effectively and keep customer satisfaction and feedback above 95%
• Sales: support the Store Manager so that sales targets are fully achieved
• Finance and accounting: help with budgeting, oversee cash-up, banking, reconciliation and daily reporting, manage petty cash and stock takes, and ensure audit compliance
• Stock management: maintain correct stock volume and mix, accurate GRV and stock takes, manage repair stock, OBF debit/credit notes and end-of-line stock, and report fast/slow movers
• Human resources: assist with rostering, time and attendance records, onboarding, performance appraisals and recruitment of admin staff
• Operations: resolve discrepancy reports, liaise with third-party vendors, ensure security and operational equipment is compliant, and manage vendor payments and sales reports
• Policies and procedures: monitor compliance, recommend improvements and help develop SOPs

Required profile

• At least 5 years of administration management experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Highly sales-driven, with a strong focus on backend and onsite support for the offline store
• Willingness to learn ERPs and other business software
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and general administration skills, with an eye for detail
