Admissions Counselor – Telesales Specialist

About the role

The Admissions Counselor is responsible for converting prospective student leads into enrolled learners. By proactively engaging applicants through phone, WhatsApp and email, the role drives enrollment revenue and ensures a smooth admissions experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily outreach to prospective students via phone, WhatsApp and email, introducing programs and encouraging applications.
• Assist applicants in completing required forms, review submissions for completeness, and communicate next steps.
• Provide personalized counseling throughout the admissions journey, clarifying program details, fees, deadlines, and expectations.
• Explain payment procedures, follow up on enrollment fees and deposits, and coordinate with the Finance team to verify payments.
• Maintain regular, proactive communication with assigned leads, building trust and improving conversion rates.
• Accurately record all interactions, application status updates, and payment confirmations in the CRM and submit regular progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Education or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 1–2 years of telesales, call‑center or customer‑service experience; experience in education admissions is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Zoho or Salesforce.
• Experience using messaging tools like WhatsApp and ManyChat for outreach and follow‑up.
