Accounting Manager

About the role

JGT Travels and Tours Ltd is looking for a proactive Accounting Manager to lead its finance function. The role involves overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic financial decisions for a growing travel and tourism business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the company’s accounting and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and overall financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable workflows.
• Provide financial analysis and decision‑making support to management.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and robust internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, ANAN or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
