Accountant – Real Estate Finance

About the role

Bridge Numerics is seeking an Accountant to support its real‑estate operations in Abuja. The role involves preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring compliance with tax and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial statements, management accounts and periodic reports.
• Maintain the general ledger, record and classify all financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable, process invoices and monitor outstanding supplier balances.
• Oversee accounts receivable, follow up on customer payments and reconcile balances.
• Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow and maintain cash‑receipt records.
• Handle property‑related accounting, including escrow accounts, taxes and project costs.
• Assist in budgeting, variance analysis and financial modelling for property investments.
• Support tax filings, regulatory compliance and coordinate audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in real‑estate or property accounting.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently to meet deadlines.
• Female candidates preferred; residence in Abuja preferred; age 23–30.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAGE accounting software.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Microsoft Word proficiency.
