Accountant

About the role

Arbitos Business Operations is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage its financial transactions and support budgeting, reporting, and compliance activities. The role works closely with operations and sales teams to ensure financial efficiency and data confidentiality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions and handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Prepare budget forecasts and publish financial statements on time.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensure timely bank payments, and compute taxes.
• Maintain balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and report on financial health and liquidity.
• Audit financial transactions, enforce confidentiality, and conduct database backups as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant.
• First‑degree graduate (BSc/HND) in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Additional certification such as CPA or CMA is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with FreshBooks and QuickBooks accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger functions.
