Accountant

About the role

The company is seeking a diligent Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support its finance operations. You will be responsible for preparing reports, managing transactions, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, invoices, receipts, and accounting documentation.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, statements, and management reports.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and daily financial transactions.
• Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, accounting standards, and company financial policies.

Required profile

• B.Sc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar systems.
• Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• ICAN/ACCA certification is an added advantage.
