About the role
The National Electronic Labour Exchange is seeking a qualified Accountant to manage its financial operations, ensure accurate bookkeeping, and support strategic financial decisions. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, preparing reports, and maintaining compliance with tax regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
- Analyze employee expenditures and monitor overall financial status.
- File and remit taxes and other statutory financial obligations.
- Manage income and expenditure accounts and generate financial reports.
- Initiate and oversee the accounting software used by the organization.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and data entry.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
