Travel and Visa Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Travel and Visa Consultant to join our Lagos office. You will guide clients through travel planning, flight and accommodation bookings, and manage visa and relocation applications for a variety of destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on travel itineraries, flight reservations, accommodation, and travel insurance.
• Process visa applications for countries such as the USA, Canada, UK, Schengen, and others, including document preparation and interview coaching.
• Develop customized travel and study packages tailored to client preferences.
• Liaise with embassies, visa centres, airlines and global partners to ensure smooth processing.
• Maintain accurate records of applications, transactions and client communications.
• Follow up with clients, provide status updates and offer after‑sales support.
• Upsell additional services such as airport pickups, insurance and accommodation upgrades.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, International Relations or related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years experience in a travel agency or visa processing environment.
• Strong knowledge of visa procedures for major destinations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple applications simultaneously.

Required skills

• Familiarity with GDS booking systems (Amadeus, Sabre).
• Experience with CRM tools.
