Strategic Partnerships for Impact (Resource Mobilization) Consultant

About the role

UNICEF Nigeria is looking for a consultant to design the 2028‑2032 Strategic Partnerships for Impact (Resource Mobilization) Strategy. The consultant will assess current programmes, identify untapped funding sources and propose partnership models that increase public and private resources for children.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the existing Country Programme and ODA landscape.
• Identify new funding opportunities and partnership avenues for the next CP cycle.
• Develop recommendations for public‑private partnerships, private‑sector engagement and advocacy with development banks.
• Produce a comprehensive strategy document aligned with government priorities.
• Engage with stakeholders to validate and refine strategic proposals.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (MA) in finance, development economics, public policy, business administration, international relations or a related field.
• Minimum seven years of experience in resource mobilisation, strategic partnerships or development finance.
• Proven experience with ODA programmes, public‑private partnerships and fundraising with IFIs.
• Strong analytical, writing and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
