Business Development Manager

About the role

Narimera Intelligence is an AI‑driven platform that de‑risks infrastructure and agricultural projects across Africa. The Business Development Manager will turn the platform’s capabilities into paid feasibility assessments, owning deals from initial conversation through payment while working closely with the CEO and a small, cross‑functional team.

Key responsibilities

• Build a qualified pipeline of Nigerian developers, DFIs, funds, agri‑finance institutions and government programmes.
• Lead discovery calls, product demonstrations, proposal drafting, negotiations and contract closure.
• Convert partner platforms and institutional programmes into paying accounts.
• Coordinate technical input for tenders, expressions of interest and funding calls.
• Maintain CRM records and deliver weekly pipeline and revenue forecasts.
• Provide buyer feedback to product teams and help develop sales materials with Communications.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of professional experience, including 4‑7 years in B2B sales or business development.
• Proven ability to close institutional deals and collect payment from Nigerian buyers.
• Established network with decision‑makers across Nigerian developers, DFIs, funds and agri‑finance organisations.
• Experience translating feasibility analysis into investment decisions and managing complex proposals.
